My Story

Amanda is a qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist with extensive experience working with both equine and small animal patients. She holds a BSc in Equine Science with Rehabilitation and a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the University of Nottingham's School of Veterinary Medicine and Science.

Growing up surrounded by horses and dogs, Amanda developed a lifelong passion for animal welfare, rehabilitation, and performance. Her background competing horses has given her valuable insight into the physical demands placed on equine athletes and the importance of maintaining their health, comfort, and mobility.

Professional Experience

Professionally, Amanda has worked at Newmarket Equine Hospital, one of the UK's leading equine veterinary centres, where she gained invaluable experience in clinical and performance care. For the past three years, she has worked within a small animal veterinary practice, where she now runs a dedicated physiotherapy clinic.

Alongside this, she provides mobile physiotherapy services for both large and small animals, delivering tailored, evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans designed to support each patient's recovery, wellbeing, and performance.

Approach to Care

Amanda is a fully insured and regulated member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP), ensuring she upholds the highest professional and ethical standards in her practice.

Known for being friendly, reliable, and trustworthy, Amanda is a true people person who values building strong relationships with clients and their animals. Her compassionate and approachable nature ensures that every patient receives the best possible care in a calm and supportive environment.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her two young children, her energetic cockapoo, Teddy, and her horses. She loves being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and making the most of countryside life in beautiful Pembrokeshire.
